Hi, here’s what I was wondering about in this community regarding my recent PC build.
I’m using some older components, though they’re all brand new. The situation started when a friend unboxed these parts and offered them to me at a discount. I checked the list on partspicker:

I assembled the system and connected everything correctly, but when I power it up, both the CPU and DRAM lights on the motherboard (Gigabyte B360 HD3) light up in an alternating pattern. I’m sure the RAM modules are firmly installed. As for the CPU, I’m not sure what’s going wrong.
Once the power comes on for about 15 seconds, the machine stops. It attempts to restart again, but it keeps doing that. I’m hoping someone can help me figure out what’s causing this issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I just attempted it, but there was no noticeable change. It seems like the problem might be related to the CPU or motherboard.
My RAM is 3000 MHz and partspicker showed no problems, so I thought it should work. I also looked up RAM sticks that fit this board and found several 3200 MHz models.
Check RAM sticks one by one, making sure they fit in the correct slots?
