There may be an issue with the router.
I searched thoroughly and wondered if others had suggestions. I currently have two hotspots in my home. One is for personal use only, while the other is shared by everyone else. When playing a limited selection of games, it frequently disconnects me, but functions properly for everything else and everyday tasks. My speeds average around 150m down and 15 up with a 30 ping. I’m not sure if it’s the fastest option, but locally it seems comparable to satellite connections. I suspect the issue stems from connecting both devices together. I’ve reset it to factory settings without success and adjusted the firewall settings too, but nothing changed. If it helps, the game DayZ works well, as do titles like Tarkov and all my MMOs.
Yes, "hotspot" refers to a WiFi connection provided by a cellular network.
Use a Wi-Fi analyzer app such as Wifiman to verify the two networks don’t share the same channels and that there are unknown ones. If they do, switch their channels—particularly on the 2.4 GHz band—to avoid interference from sources like microwaves. Also confirm you’re not connecting on 2.4 GHz, as doing so could expose you to additional disruptions.
