Using the example given, the header for the powerswitch is located in JFP1 and the actual pins are pins 6 and 8. To connect or interrupt them briefly, just link those directly for a short time using a thin wire or similar material—just follow the same steps. Keep in mind that even though you know their positions on the board, the method remains consistent.
Hello, I just installed a new ASUS Prime B450M-A motherboard and added a 500W quiet PSU. I’m not buying any CPU yet—I’m ordering parts on a monthly basis. I wanted to check if the board is working, so I connected everything, including the 24-pin and 8-pin headers. It didn’t do anything at all, not even spin the fans. Since the board looks brand new, I tried turning it on with a screwdriver, but it still doesn’t show any life. Is this because of the CPU? Maybe it’s not the right one or something is wrong.
Remove the engine from the vehicle and check if it begins functioning at all, with no indication of activity from the CPU or RAM.
There is ram, the damn fans should at last try to spin or something
