There is static electricity affecting all devices on my PC.
As described, touching connected parts in my PC causes a mild but bothersome shock. It happens because the device sits on top of a wooden desk above carpet. I suspect this proximity might be the cause, but I’m unsure how to resolve it since I can’t relocate. There’s a heater nearby that could be connected to my case, though I’m not sure about the setup. Could you offer advice on troubleshooting and possible reasons for this issue? Any overlooked details would be helpful.
The issue doesn’t seem to occur when touching the heating, so it might not be a PSU problem. It could also relate to an extension cable or more sockets.
