There is no RAM DIMM slot visible or connected.
Previously functioned, yet whenever I switch dual channel in DIMM slots A1 & B1 and A2 & B2 the system fails to communicate with BIOS. Extremely frustrating. Attempted resetting CLRTC pins, cleared CMOS by removing battery, but nothing resolves it. All components work fine except for brief periods where only two slots are used. Once it worked briefly with standard steps, I saw a blue screen and received an exception error. It looks like a RAM problem. I'm really confused. Help would be appreciated.
Have you attempted starting from a single RAM module at a time to check for issues?
They function properly, but with just a single RAM stick installed, the system displays 1 of 2 instead of 1 of 4 slots.
Go through each of the four connectors in every slot following this pattern. If an issue lies with a RAM module, it will become apparent. A common scenario observed involves a bent pin. When a memory controller pin in the socket is curved, it may lead to such a situation. The simplest approach to verify is to take out the CPU and inspect from underneath, before trying other troubleshooting steps.
