I encountered issues and attempted a time-shift fix, but it triggered a kernel panic. I’m okay as long as I can reinstall and locate my Steam saves and Lutris bottles.

The system should generate a backup when you select recover, and your timeshift group automatically saves a copy there. Have you enabled the timeshift Grub automatic hook?
