I've experienced some puzzling computer issues over the past few days. It appears to have stopped functioning completely overnight, even though it worked perfectly the day before. There was no POST and no signal to any of my peripherals. I tried reseating everything, performed a CMOS reset, and then applied a BIOS update. Now it can start up after several minutes. During this time, the Q-LED displayed specific patterns: it signaled a DRAM problem for about 40 seconds, then switched to the CPU for one second, followed by VGA and finally Boot. This sequence repeated twice before a normal POST and boot occurred, though after logging in it would freeze and crash after a few minutes. The BIOS also froze and crashed when I adjusted voltages to try and improve stability. So far, I suspect the issue lies with either the CPU or the motherboard, but I’d appreciate a second opinion. Recently, I heard an unusual sound near the CPU—a strange light crackling buzz that I’m not familiar with and don’t know how to address. I’m struggling and can’t complete my tasks without this machine.

My build details:
ASUS ROG Strix B650-a Gaming WiFi
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
Kingston Fury Beast 64GB
Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe m.2 SSD
NZXT Kraken 360 Elite
Gigabyte Eagle RTX 3060 oc 12GD
Corsair RM850X

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Here are some questions about your setup:
What BIOS version is installed on your motherboard?
Are you using a Kingston Fury Beast with 64GB RAM?
Is this a 2x32GB or a 2x2x16GB configuration?
What is the age of your PSU?
I recently heard an unusual sound near the CPU, a strange crackling noise I’ve never encountered before. I’m trying to figure out what’s causing it.
You might try placing an A4 sheet into a cylinder and holding it up to your ear to locate the source. Also, check for any burnt or blown capacitors, and be aware of any burning smells.

BIOS version 3222 is installed. The RAM setup is 2x32. The power supply appears to be around two years old, though I've had this system for slightly less time. I plan to investigate the source of the sound carefully, hoping it won't cause any damage while operating.

New observation: monitor linked via HDMI on the motherboard is showing white squares prior to system freezing. The GPU was completely disconnected. No burning odors are noticeable; identifying the sound source remains challenging. I've isolated everything except the SSD, but I believe the issue may lie with the pump or the CPU.
Edit: if the problem is with the pump, I'm less concerned. I removed it during troubleshooting to check the CPU, expecting air ingress and planning a flush.
