Hello,
I’m dealing with an intriguing issue involving the PC I built myself in December 2022.
The setup includes:
Intel Core i5 13600k
ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS D4
Two 16 GB Kingston FURY Beast DDR4-3200 RAM slots (CL16-18-18)
MSI Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Gaming X LHR
Samsung SSD 980 PRO 1TB
Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2TB
be quiet Pure Power 11 FM 750W
be quiet Dark Rock Slim CPU Cooler

The problem appears occasionally (about once or twice a week):
My two monitors turn black and show "No connection could be found." The PC keeps running but doesn’t respond to any input. Sounds still play, fans spin, RGB lights stay on, and the microphone stops working—so no one can hear me in calls. No blue screen appears, and after a few minutes nothing changes. I had to force restart via power button and it started normally afterward.
Only an "Unexpected shutdown" shows up in the Windows event log, with no events recorded 1–2 minutes prior.

Initially, I thought the graphics card was the culprit. But the issue only affected the display and input handling, not the core performance.
Could there be another cause? Have others experienced similar problems?
Unfortunately, I don’t have spare parts on hand to replace components. The problem is intermittent and hard to reproduce.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS D4
Which BIOS version is installed on your motherboard?
Check Device Manager for any warnings marked with a yellow exclamation.
Consider using DDU to delete all GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, Nvidia) and then reinstall the latest driver from Nvidia's support site. Run the installer as an administrator.
You may also benefit from obtaining a well-built PSU from a friend or neighbor, ensuring it has sufficient wattage, and see if this resolves your issue.
