I just put together an intel 12700k pc and everything appears to function correctly, as I can boot into my UEFI bios on my asus motherboard. The bios lists my connected nvme drive, ssd drive, and usb stick. In the boot menu, I selected my usb stick with windows 10 install media. When I set it as the primary boot device and restarted the computer, nothing happened—I only saw a black screen. What could be causing the install media to not appear? What steps should I take to troubleshoot this issue? I’ve used the windows media tool before, but it’s been about a year or two now.
In the bios you can observe my connected nvme drive, sdd drive and my usb stick.
Disconnect all drives except the one you want to install the os onto.
I've used the windows media tool before, but it's been a year or two.
Create a new bootable usb installer and then continue with the installation.
