I tend to take some time before moving to the newest OS X version, usually around December. People's opinions about Sierra on new hardware vary. The main reason I haven't updated recently was reading reports (around launch) suggesting 'optimized storage' would activate after an update—though I think those cases were probably mistakes by people who didn’t realize it was enabled. Anyway, here I am in April 2017... What’s Mac OS Sierra?

It seems you're coordinating a plan to upgrade later today. Let me know if you need help with anything else!

I've experienced no problems with the operating system and have been functioning smoothly since the beta release.
