It's typical. My system has the same setup on my B450-F Gaming. M.2_1 offers both SATA and NVMe options, whereas M.2_2 only supports NVMe. EDIT: Keep in mind that some SATA connections might be turned off when using an M.2 drive. Uncertain if this applies to Z390—check your manual. The product page mentions it clearly: ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING | Gaming Motherboard.
