I'm currently in this stage of my life. My old PC was barely enough for CSGO, but now... I'm not sure where to begin. I bought Rainbow Six as a big fan of competitive FPS games, and I thought about quitting, but I ended up buying the Season Pass. GODMODE is such a fun game I can't stop playing it... Then CSGO stays in the top 3 for me in competitive play, followed by Rust. That game really takes your breath away once you start. I've been playing CSGO for years and have over 700 hours, now I'm at 1 year of Rust with 400 hours—it's insane. Anyone else had the same problem? What do you think I should do? Edit: Definitely quitting Fortnite after this season if not now, lol it's just too annoying overall. You probably just suck, honestly. But I'm really good at the game; I'm just losing interest because of all these updates since the beginning of PvE.
i just stuck with CS:GO because my friends did and achieved 850h in three years. then i went all out and logged 1000h of Paladins in a year, but now i’m not playing anything anymore. i used to enjoy CS:GO, GMOD, MC, and TF2 constantly, though they eventually got boring for me. now i just play whatever interests me and have fun while it lasts. in my experience, once you get bored with competitive FPS, switching to something like an MMORPG or a MOBA such as LoL might help keep you motivated again. there are plenty of great games, so don’t feel pressured to stick with one unless you really want to.
That really helped me think clearly. I plan to remove Fortnite tomorrow, and I’m curious about how long I can enjoy whatever game I pick next. For the other game, I’ve been searching for a solid MMORPG but it’s tough—monthly fees are high, and the free version isn’t great. I’m not sure what to choose.
Have you checked out BDO? I tried it for a while and really liked it. It got a bit repetitive around level 55, but it’s one of the most visually appealing games I’ve ever played and feels like a solid MMORPG. It usually goes on sale often, though be careful—both the game and updates are huge in size. The base version is around 75GB, and each update adds more than 14GB.
The Witcher is my favorite game, but I also enjoy exploration, building, or sandbox experiences like Cities: Skylines, Garry's Mod with many mods, Minecraft, and Tropico. I have around 3003 hours of Garry's Mod and currently play Minecraft in my Steam account. I purchased the Valve Pack during a sale, but my Minecraft save is 14GB with lots of structures inside. My gaming journey began with a simple dirt house that has become a sacred site in my capital city. I steer clear of multiplayer games because of toxic player bases and only engage in solo or cooperative missions with friends on certain titles.
The problem you mentioned is that this sentence doesn't convey any issue.
As a child, you can spend time enjoying every one. If you're in school or working, ... you haven't mentioned many solo games, so good luck trying them all!
