Results will be processed. Temperatures on the CPU seem typical, usage hasn’t shifted significantly during gameplay. However, it could stem from software issues rather than hardware problems.
I needed to stop Windows from updating drivers, as it would erase the ones I had already set up.
I turned off freesync in the Radeon software, and it seemed to resolve the issue for a few days—about a week. I was confident it would stop happening again soon. Eventually, the same problem reappeared, matching the previous error. The Radeon software indicated that a Windows update might have replaced my AMD graphics driver automatically.
When setting up the GPU, I often disconnect the network to prevent automatic updates. Regarding the Samsung 980 PRO, it tends to have firmware issues; using the Samsung Magician to check and update it is essential since an unupdated version can cause serious problems. Once updated, press and hold the shift key and restart into recovery mode. Troubleshoot by opening the command prompt and running sfc /scannow—it’s the best chance to fix corrupted files. Sometimes these issues arise from a damaged NVMe drive, but hopefully this resolves it.
It seems the update was previously applied, but now it's been fixed. I ran a diagnostic check and confirmed the firmware is current. I also noticed I hadn't paused Windows during the last week, which might have resolved the problem. This week's issues could be due to that. I plan to rerun the DDU scan and reinstall drivers without a network connection.
