It actually sounds great, particularly the mention of a "non-toxic community." I'm willing to give it a shot.
Also another plus is you know how all the f2p games have the money currency that you buy? well in warframe there is a while economy in which you sell the parts (parts u craft to make things) and trade for the ingame paid currency
Dark Souls II offers a straightforward crafting approach, yet its challenge lies in acquiring the necessary materials for upgrades or designing a strong strategy to navigate the game. The combat system is also highly praised.
I didn’t enjoy the slow fighting mechanics in Monster Hunter either. Dark Souls feels like a harsher, tougher take for those who like challenges. Honestly, I don’t really like those intense difficulties, otherwise I’d dive into Dark Souls right away.
The game you're after is Monster Hunter. Unfortunately, it isn't available on PC in the US yet. Other developers have attempted to copy it (such as Tera), but they often compromise the intended combat experience. I expected a tougher challenge with combo-based fights and evasion in Tera, but instead got something more similar to Guild Wars. Monster Hunter still feels missing in terms of guild and trading features compared to most MMOs, though if you're after authentic gameplay, MH4U on the 3DS is the best option. I really wish I could own that sword and use it to defeat more monsters and craft even better weapons.
Yep, that's unfortunate. And alternatives are either just not available or terrible (like Toukiden Kiwami). Tera seems to be the closest I can get to that in terms of features and quality. There's been many times when I thought about getting a 3DS but there just aren't enough games I'm interested in to justify the purchase (at least not until Nintendo releases an old-fashioned side-scrolling Metroid).
