Looking for games with resource gathering and a detailed crafting system without heavy combat or long-term commitment. You're open to titles beyond MMORPGs and the Elder Scrolls/Fallout series, seeking something similar in 3rd person.

It's not about having 700 hours, it's just a lot of practice, and it's really enjoyable!

It could be imagined as a stage production if you haven’t seen it yet. The game features a crafting mechanic, though most of it revolves around gathering herbs, making potions, and similar items rather than weapons or armor.

Firefall, Ark, Survival Evolved – it's all a bit confusing.

Downloading it right now and watching TB's WTF is...? about it. I actually have that in my Steam library. Just not in the mood for party members. But if nothing else comes up I'll give it a try. Ark looks nice, but it's 1st person only and I get motion sick pretty fast Firefall looks good too, need to see how heavy it is on the MMO part (being dependant on other players).

theres story behind it. Also the community is not toxic at all and very nice. The Developers still do updates alot and are very connected to the community. meaning if you do fanart it can be implimented into the game. Basically a sequal to the previous game dark sector this is set in the future theres no offical lore confirming it but I think its humans that have gotten the techno virus which turns them into these Frames. U get superpowers and shit. Update 17 is coming soon which is changeing the movement style so dont get used to the game so fast

You don't necessarily need to take everyone from your group to Dragon Age. I haven't tried it myself.
