I adjusted the VDDCR CPU voltage without thinking much of it, which caused a lot of problems. I reset the BIOS and the settings stopped working because I now have to manually pick a boot drive instead of changing them automatically. The motherboard still shows the correct DRAM order—CPU led, then VGA, then RAM, then boot—but I can’t switch between them at once. After resetting the RAM, I ran a memory diagnostic and found no issues. I’m stuck with my 2400MHz RAM instead of the expected 3200MHz, since I can’t modify BIOS settings or change the boot process simultaneously. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i did the following steps:
turned off the pc
shut down the psu
removed the cmos
waited 10 minutes
installed a new cmos
restarted the pc with the black screen prompting to press f1 for setup
it loaded into bios
selected the drive
the pc started normally
i repeated this several times and each time it followed the same process

Yes, the battery was swapped in. Did the replacement battery come with a tiny plastic cap on the underside that you took off before putting it in?

Are you asked to restart because the automatic reboot after the BIOS update indicates a new fTPM firmware version or processor?

I worked on the other batteries there, but there isn't.

So there seems to be a bios update issue, I was using version 03XX, thanks.
