Just downloaded No Man's Sky on Steam with plans to play in VR. Right after launching, I felt noticeable stuttering and lag. Adjusting settings to the lowest didn’t help much. I’m using Quest 2 with Virtual Desktop and have SSW enabled at 120 FPS, medium graphics, and 100MBPS. Here are my specs: MSI Vega 64 8G OC AIR BOOST RYZEN 5 5600x (stock cooler), 16GB G.Skill Ripjaw 3600, B450M DS3H Corsair, 750W PSU.

Consider alternative ways to show the output, check for GPU driver updates, and see if you can modify the VR headset firmware.

Space visuals struggled even with my i9 10900k/2080 Ti configuration. I plan to retry once the system upgrades to a 3080 Ti or 3090. This setup remains the most challenging for VR performance.

They checked several benchmarks and found the performance really poor. It seems they were aware of the lag issues since they needed to conduct tests.
