The issue might be unclear, and it's normal to feel unsure about where to begin. Take a step back and assess the situation carefully.

Need detailed information to proceed. We require: processor details (including overclocking settings if applicable), CPU cooler RAM configuration, motherboard GPU status, and whether the operating system uses a power supply.

Update all drivers, then perform a malware or virus scan. Next, monitor PC temperatures. Review BIOS settings to disable XMP and clear CMOS if needed. Finally, examine crash logs for any of these programs; search online for guidance if you need assistance with steps one through four.

Step 4 was completed. Turning off XMP and bringing RAM back to the default 2666 restored everything to normal. All 20 loops of the Port Royal ray tracing benchmark ran without any issues.

Consider trying memtest. Your memory might be failing. Note: This could be less common. We need more details about your system parts to help better. For instance, some modules restrict XMP features. Also, finding the official speed ratings for multiple sticks can be tricky. If you're fine with standard performance, you can skip further checks.

My recall is intact. It functioned smoothly on a different platform. Here are the details: i5 13400F, 16x2 3600 DDR4 RAM, CL 18-22-22-42, Juhor MSi Gaming X Trio RTX 3070. The probable issue was a B760i ITX motherboard purchased from AliExpress. No XMP settings or modifications resolved the problem.
