I just bought a Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 (5120x1440, 240Hz) because I haven’t owned a monitor under $250 before. Thought it was time to treat myself. I also have three AOC CQ27G2 monitors (2560x1440, 144Hz) but can’t get them all to work together. I own an ASUS ROG STRIX 3090 and feel confident my graphics card should handle the task. I saw somewhere that the graphics driver has a hard limit around 2x 4K resolution. It’s unclear if that’s accurate, but it sounds reasonable. With four displays, I’m expecting around 5x 2K or roughly 2.25K total. I’ve lowered the resolution on the AOC monitors to 1080p without success, so maybe it’s not just a pixel issue. Anyone else faced this problem and have you found a solution?

So I might have gotten it running? I just had to use Intel’s virtualization feature... That means I connected my fourth monitor into the motherboard. It unexpectedly shut down on me, so we’ll check how it holds up. Still unsure why this worked because it seems to be sending the GPU display directly to the M/B’s screen.

When I power on the PC with all four screens linked, everything displays at 2560x1440. Switching the G9 to 5120x1440 triggers a crash. This appears to be the maximum resolution the driver can handle. At this stage, the best solution seems to be using a display link to manage the three monitors.
