Adobe Acrobat may struggle with speed on various systems, but there are other tools that offer similar features with improved optimization and performance.

Foxit PDF is a reliable tool I've relied on for many years. It runs quickly and offers a wide range of features.

Google Chrome runs smoothly. I’m not familiar with many of its options since editing PDFs usually needs an image tool.

I'm currently downloading it. Their key message in ads is "Better than Adobe Reader and Acrobat," but I faced issues printing with Chrome—some elements didn't appear in the final output.

Foxit reader is another option I think about using on my PC. It's worth trying.

The foxit top ribbon matches the 2013 style because it was designed in that era. It was likely created by the same team. As for editing PDFs, the product does not support that functionality.

Only someone with an image editing tool can modify PDFs, since they aren't standard word files. They're essentially large pictures.
