The PC setup involves multiple fans and headers. You’ll need 2 ARGB fans at the front, one non-RGB fan near the back, and another non-RGB fan at the rear. The CPU cooler requires two additional fans on separate headers. Ensure you use compatible headers for each fan type and verify the layout in your motherboard manual.

The number of fans a header can handle varies by fan model. Typically, standard consumer fans work well with three or fewer common fans, usually around 0.3A per fan. Always verify the specific fan first. If uncertain, opt for a hub with extra SATA power options.

You have five fan headers on your motherboard. One is dedicated to the CPU cooler, leaving four or three available. You may need up to four more, possibly by connecting some fans in a chain. For instance, the Arctic PST fans are compatible with daisy chaining. Any of your headers work, just verify in the BIOS for adjustments like pump or fan DC/PWM curves. FanControl is a useful app for managing them all. Updated August 11, 2024 by leclod

If you have the budget and it's nearby, opt for a fan hub driven by SATA power. Arctic offers a good option around ten dollars.
