Additional notes to highlight: The issue council will be active this week. Spectrum in Santa Monica will release GOST standards and updates soon. Austin plans to add more emotes with audio and hair details. Arccorp’s new area is coming up, along with weather effects. Foundry42 (UK) is boosting the player limit. Networking features, identifiers inside CryEngine, and other preparations are in progress for PTU. Foundry42 (Frankfurt) is integrating mocap into the game, showcased at Citizencon. Turbulent focuses on website, forums, community hubs, and store updates, managing authentication from the launcher. They handle site synchronization with gameplay, major posts, videos, and sales. Looking ahead: more communication tools for Org 2.0. Issue Council will be announced. Matt Sherman (CIG LA) mentioned a balanced approach; EMP won’t be overly powerful nor too simple—it technically affects your ship as well. A data spike is being used for hacking, requiring a missile as a consumable. The system will roll out gradually, starting with distortion weapons, then jamming options, and finally active hacking features. The current ship design includes modular Avenger Cockpit and cargo units, with a return to the double cockpit concept. Sandi didn’t cosplay; she was overwhelmed at the convention and Ben doesn’t know much about sports, but he delivers plenty of puns (AND FINGERGUNS!!!). I’ll post another update for Reverse the Verse.
