Most of the adjustments can be achieved by shifting the Start Menu back to its proper position. A tool such as Classic Shell helps mimic the Windows 10 interface. Removing rounded corners often needs patching a .DLL file or reverting to the standard driver, which can slow things down. If those options aren't feasible, simply install Windows 10—it still receives updates for several more years.

In my opinion, it has a nice look, though it feels a bit abrupt compared to Windows 10. You can switch to the dark theme in Settings > Personalization > Themes, but that's limited without additional tools. Look at the links, and if you still don't find suitable options, consider going back to Windows 10. You might see updates listed under Settings > Update somewhere if it hasn't been long. As @Needfuldoer noted, there are still some updates available (ending on Oct. 14, 2025). It remains a fully functional OS.
