Hello,
I've been facing a problem with my Zowie mouse for a few weeks.
The wheel button that I normally use to open a new tab in Chrome has been behaving strangely.
It sometimes opens 2, 3, 4 or even 5 tabs with just one click.
It's also frustrating when closing tabs with the wheel, as it can close multiple tabs if I choose to close one in the middle of several.
Clearly something is wrong with the button. I've owned this mouse for about four years now.
I'm trying to find a solution or extend the time needed for another click.
Has anyone else experienced this issue before?
I haven't changed any settings, as this model doesn't have software—it's just plug-and-use.
Should I go with a new one, or is there a fix possible?
Thanks!

Mouse buttons may degrade with use.
It could be a reason to purchase a replacement, especially with better lighting.

Based on my observations, Zowie mice tend to have weak construction. As mentioned, you may need to switch to a different model.
