Hello everyone, today I installed a control board into my system between the front panel connector and the mainboard. It was meant to enable remote power-on and shutdown for one of my network KVM controllers. Later I noticed some lights on my GPU block appeared incorrect. After rebooting, the ARGB LEDs stopped working entirely. I used the Armoury Crate uninstaller and reinstalled it, but that didn’t resolve the problem. When I interacted with the mainboard in the dashboard, it indicated an update was needed. All Armoury Crate components were up to date. I then upgraded to the latest BIOS, but the system froze at code 98 with only a black screen. It stayed that way for more than 30 minutes without improvement. After turning it off and back on, it booted fine, though the RGB issue persisted. In the BIOS, the LED EC field remains blank. I’ve flashed several BIOS versions and the newest one still doesn’t fix the LED display or restore RGB functionality. I tried installing Armoury Crate from a clean Windows installation, but that didn’t help either. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be really useful.

Could there be a problem where components are failing, and your system experiences memory issues when using both XMP1 and the kit?

Contacted Intel regarding the memory problems. They provided a replacement chip which resolved some issues, though RGB functionality remains unaffected.
