I haven't made any changes to the app in about two years. I rely on it every day for at least two hours. I'm still unsure if it's the right time to update, as many people have shared their concerns.

The iOS app performs much better. A minor frustration remains with YouTube comments on Android—there’s no option to sort by new or top comments, they default to just the top ones. iOS handles this easily, while I couldn’t find a similar setting in Android.

That's the point, aside from the colors and the bubble effect while scrolling, which doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Just one thing. In landscape mode, the video description now appears below the video, which I find unpleasant.

Don't stress, it's all Material Design. It enhances the look with Lollipop and works fine with KitKat.
