I see the issue after turning off the XPS 15 9520 and closing the lid. Every time you open it, it powers on again. This behavior seems unusual. Is there a specific feature that causes this? If so, how can it be disabled? Why would manufacturers set this as the default? Who benefits from this design? If you carry the laptop in a bag and it still turns on, that’s definitely not ideal. This power-on action is meant for the power button, right? Are all Dell XPS 15 9520 models configured this way? Is this a common setting now? It’s hard to believe many people would want this behavior.
