I own a 9900k on a Z390 Gigabyte board. My 3200mhz DDR4 works well with its XMP setting for this board and the Z170 before that. But after unplugging the PC, it won’t boot with the XMP profile anymore—it only boots with manual OC up to 2600mhz, even if I boost the voltage. I’ve cleared CMOS, updated BIOS, and tested different RAM sticks. Should I swap the motherboard or CPU first? Is this a problem with the memory controller?
