The Xbox One controller fails to connect with the wireless USB adapter on XBOX One.
I mistakenly deleted the USB Human Interface device from Device Manager, causing your Xbox One controller to lose connection with the XBOX Wireless USB adapter. It still works with another USB controller and Bluetooth. The unusual behavior is that when you link a secondary controller through the wireless adapter, you can also connect your main Xbox One controller, but not independently. If you attempt to connect the main controller alone, the blinking light stays on briefly as if it connected, then switches off. When Device Manager is active, it flashes briefly, indicating a new device found, and again flashes when the controller disconnects. The HID device isn’t visible in the list and can’t be enabled since it’s not connected to the PC. Everything functioned normally before removing the HID driver. Operating system: Windows 10 Home 64 bit
You manually removed and reattached the USB adapter to allow Windows to recognize it once more.
I've reinserted the adapter several times into various USB ports, but the problem continues. I also attempted to link the controller via the add a bluetooth or device menu, but once connected, it shuts off again. The batteries are fresh and fully charged.
