Check your PC settings in Device Manager, ensure the correct drivers are installed, and verify the Xbox One controller is properly connected. If issues persist, try reinstalling the driver or contacting Microsoft support for assistance.

Bluetooth or USB connection? Which console does it belong to? Is it a standard Xbox controller?

It functions via USB as an original Xbox One controller, connecting properly on your laptop but not on the PC.

Check for an alternative cable or port on the machine. If it doesn't appear in Device Manager, that's usually the initial concern.

I attempted it but it keeps repeating across all ports, tried various cables, yet nothing appears.

I rebooted my computer and Windows updated, but it continues to behave oddly, treating it like a mouse and keyboard. Is there a cause behind this issue?
