Hello. I own two RAM sticks: G.skill Trident Z 6000MHz, 16GB each (total 32GB). My PC restarts three times when I apply the XMP profile on the BIOS. On the third restart it boots without the XMP profile, which means the RAM isn’t the problem. I’ve used other X670E motherboards and a 7700X if that would help. I’m still using the original BIOS and haven’t felt the need to update yet. Unless this will somehow fix my issue. Some users on other forums mentioned switching the CPU cooler connector to the CPU fan 2 to the 1 worked, but that didn’t help with mine.

The issue is my PC shuts down when trying to use XMP at 6000MHz. It restarts three times before booting without XMP. Apologies.

XMP settings don't always work well with Ryzen processors. Try lowering the frequency to 5600MHz and see how it performs.

It's odd since I mentioned earlier. Other X670E boards functioned perfectly with the correct MHz setting for XMP. The one I bought, the X870E Taichi Lite, is brand new.

Was die gleiche Taktrate verwendet?

I just changed my bios to the newest version, but the problem still exists. Perhaps using the clear CMOS button would help.

At the end I reduced the frequency from 6000mhz to 5800mt. It worked because the hardware info shows it's at 2900, even though I didn't adjust the clock. I hope I won't lose too much performance. (Perhaps I'll get a better DDR5 RAM set later after getting the 9800x3d.)
