I reviewed the site, yet I’m unclear on its purpose. It appears to be solely a contrast between a previous-generation and a more recent graphics card.

Hello everyone, I recently purchased “The Forest” and, as is my usual practice before purchasing any game, I’ve verified that my system meets the suggested specifications. My PC significantly exceeds these recommendations – approximately 2-3 times more powerful. Therefore, I anticipated being able to play on maximum settings. However, at high settings, the game only reaches a frame rate of around 45 fps, and I experience occasional dips when using medium settings. I’ve adjusted individual graphical options between low, medium, and high, but I’m still encountering frame drops down to 50 fps in certain areas and situations. Has anyone else encountered similar problems? Is there a solution available?

Here are my system details:
Intel core i5-8400 2.8 GHz
GeForce GTX 1050 ti with 4 GB of memory
1080p 60Hz monitor
8GB VRAM

I’m posting this message for a second time on this forum; the initial post didn't provide assistance, so I hope this one will be more helpful.

This application suffers from severe inefficiency, and you likely won't achieve the desired speed. Examine this discussion board under "forest" to understand the situation, as it appears you failed to conduct a preliminary search prior to submitting your duplicate posts.

I recognize there’s significant optimization issues with this game. I’ll continue using these configurations. It’s unreasonable to blame me for its inefficient design.

You were curious whether other individuals experienced the same issue, and the sole method for determining this is to explore the discussion board; as you observe, numerous others have encountered this particular challenge.

I apologize for my tardiness, but did you manage to resolve the issue?

I’ve reduced the graphics settings (and you're welcome to suggest alternatives), purchased Dying Light, and found that the viewing range significantly impacts my frame rate. Therefore, I plan to decrease the view distance and observe if this improves performance!
