The wireless usb adapter automatically connects and disconnects.
Hello, I understand this question has been asked several times yet no solution was found.
My issue involves using a wireless USB adapter for the first time.
It works on my Lenovo Z50-70 laptop with three USB ports (two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0).
Each time I plug it in, it enters a connecting and disconnecting loop.
It only functions properly with USB 3.0 (including the looping feature), but it may connect on USB 2.0.
Using the adapter with USB 2.0 causes the looping to continue indefinitely.
I can confirm the ports are working normally when I use a mouse and a USB flash drive without problems.
I've tried various fixes related to power saving, network drivers, and USB settings, but none resolved the problem.
The adapter model is Qtech netq-5000.
I tested it on another laptop that lacks USB 3.0, which works perfectly.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the network drivers didn't help either.
Additionally, when it functions on USB 3.0, it disconnects if moved or touched.
However, I've noticed this happens more often when downloading files.
I'm still unsure what exactly causes this issue.
My laptop is a Lenovo Z50-70, and the network driver is Qualcomm Atheros AR956x.
The adapter uses an 802.11n USB LAN card.
Thank you in advance.
it's now connected and functioning properly,
uncertain about what might have occurred and whether I altered anything, all I did was repeat the same steps as before—removed drivers and reinstalled it, checked the power-saving settings for network and USB drivers, and that's it.
i think it's not fully resolved, but at least it's better than nothing.
