I possess a highly customized wireless Symm1 Gen1 mouse. Some time ago, perhaps around a year ago, I observed that my mouse would lock onto the window I kept open. For instance, when I tried to switch to Tarkov Open, the mouse could only click and move the cursor if I pressed Alt+Tab to go to the desktop. However, I couldn't click anything on the desktop afterward. At first, I found this unusual but ignored it until I restarted my computer, after which it stopped happening for a few days. Nowadays, the issue occurs more often and consistently. I’ve also noticed that when this happens, the mouse repeatedly triggers the middle mouse button (mouse2), which doesn’t resolve even after a restart. Opening Task Manager can fix the main click problem, but the middle button remains stuck. Occasionally, it works perfectly for hours, yet I trigger the bug by switching between wireless and wired connections or pressing the middle button excessively. I’m eager to understand why this is happening with my setup. I’d appreciate any advice or clues if a replacement mouse might be necessary. Thanks for your attention.

It looks like the issue stems from both functionality and adjustable settings. Certain aspects remain fixed, while others can be modified.

You're wondering if the issue occurred by coincidence on the third PC, since it resolved after connecting it after the third one. The mouse appears to be functioning properly this morning, suggesting a possible battery problem or driver malfunction—since it works again when the mouse and PC are off for a while.
