The wireless keyboard and mouse ceased functioning after a brief power interruption of up to one second. I'm typing using my wired keyboard, yet I still favor the wireless option. Do you have any suggestions?

Check if using the wireless keyboard and mouse on another PC reveals damage from the power outage.

I don't have another PC. But I do have another USB dongle. I have a 10-Port USB strip on the floor. That wasn't affected. But the 4-Port USB strip on my desk, which is where the wireless USB dongle is connected. Seems to be dead.

Is the four-port USB strip and the wireless USB both dead, or just one of them?

While checking the Device Manager, I unplugged and plugged back in the 4-Port Hub. No changes were observed in the Device Manager. This suggests it might be nonfunctional. Regarding the wireless USB dongle, I’ll need to verify it in a different hub.

It cannot be tested by simply connecting it to a USB port because the issue lies elsewhere.

Use the wireless dongle (the one included with your keyboard and mouse) in a USB port on your computer instead of connecting it to the hub.

I checked both the Logitech receiver on the 4-Port and a spare on the working 10-Port USB Hub. Both lit up a port clearly. That shows the Logitech USB receivers are good.
