I'm facing difficulties updating Windows via Windows Update on Windows 7 Home Premium. I've attached two screenshots to illustrate the issue. The update keeps failing despite my attempts. I shut down the PC and tried using the update icon next to the shutdown button, then restarted it. I also searched online for solutions and found Wise Registry Cleaner, but it didn't help. I'm not very tech-savvy, so could you provide a straightforward step-by-step guide? Thanks.

Windows occasionally encounters issues. I tend to overlook them. Some require additional updates before a smooth setup, while others continue to fail. In this situation, I was able to complete the installation successfully, so I’m unsure what might be causing problems in your case.

It might. Its no harm of trying if this is really bothering you.

I just tried it but it didn't work. I'll keep it for a while and check again. Appreciate the response.
