The Windows update isn't removing itself.
Hi everyone, I just started using my Windows 10 computer a few days ago. It won’t start up at all. After some troubleshooting, I found the issue was a corrupt Windows update from July 10th, 2018. I tried going into safe mode and removing it through the programs menu, but it didn’t work. The update isn’t uninstallable with the available options. I know how to remove other updates, so I’m hoping someone can assist me. I’ve been working on fixing this for a while now and it’s really frustrating.
Thank you for your message. You're experiencing issues with vertical colored lines during loading, followed by the monitor turning off and displaying a black screen that persists until you restart the computer. This has been ongoing for several days. You've tried reinstalling Windows updates and are now attempting to download a standalone update via Safe Mode, but it's not working. Could you clarify if you're seeing any error messages or specific steps when trying to access the update?
