I pressed repair in the installed app, and it functioned properly, thank you!
The problem was caused by WSA connecting to the wrong adapter. Turn off all network cards except the one used for internet, keep WSA off during adjustments, then restart it. Once done, re-enable the previously disabled ones. I quickly understood why it happened—it’s typical when using many adapters at once.
Android Wi-Fi identifies and automatically chooses Windows Hyper-V virtual adapter. It isn't included in the standard list. WSL operates through a Hyper-V virtual switch when memory security or virtualization is active on Windows. They might have adapted WSL to work with Hyper-V by adding virtual adapters. You can configure a custom DNS inside Android's subsystem using the approach described; however, once Android restarts, the subsystem's Virtual WiFi adapter loses those settings. After resolving this, the issue becomes straightforward. Gaining quick access to the Android settings app (without needing to install an alternative) would be very useful.
