I powered off my computer this morning and the Windows Start menu plus Cortana are still not functioning. I've already tried a restart, but nothing has improved.

Check if you're tapping it or pressing the Windows key. There was a glitch in older versions but it's now resolved.

It seems the action didn't trigger anything, even though the icons appear to respond when clicked.
