I own a Dell laptop running Windows 10. I added two users—me as the admin and them just for gaming. After switching to Windows 11, everything seems fine so far. My account has remained stable without any problems. Recently, both users reported that Windows Security can't be accessed. They were prompted to download an app from the store, but nothing appeared when they clicked. That's expected. The security feature isn't listed anywhere. I searched online and found various commands for CMD and PowerShell, but they didn't resolve the issue. In the Control Panel, it appears in Firewall settings, yet it doesn't function properly. I ran Dism, sfc, Get apppackage, and an extended version of those steps, but nothing helped. What should I do next? Note: I suspect the problem might be related to the user profiles. I recently created a non-admin profile, and everything works perfectly. It seems the admin account upgrade to Windows 11 didn't install correctly for non-admin users, causing the security app to fail. There doesn't seem to be a permanent fix with PowerShell or Gpedit. Same issue again. Only changed settings yesterday. Edited the commands once more using elevated PowerShell. I added the disabling steps for Set-ExecutionPolicy and AppXPackage. The previous Malwarebytes interference caused the problem.

I don't use 3rd party activities and things like that. There's nothing for me to disable. Plus, the app is just straight up missing altogether asking with several windows programs. I had to download terminal to try a few fixes and went down another rabbit hole. I tried the codes a few times in several orgasms and none of them worked. Kept getting error messages that said can't install because user is logged off, or previous version is already newer.. yada. My fix is to readd the profiles as new.
