I was trying to clean up some old network adapters on my PC late at night and accidentally caused a problem. I don’t recall exactly what happened. Now I’m unsure where to begin. When I connect a laptop to the same port on my router, everything works fine. I ran a factory reset on Windows and fixed nothing. Where should I start troubleshooting? I’ve updated the drivers, but the real Ethernet adapter isn’t showing up in ipconfig.

I resolved it by removing the controller and reinstalling the drivers.

Thank you for your message. I installed the newest Realtek drivers myself after removing them.
