I’m trying to upgrade my brother's PC today by installing a new SSD and getting a fresh Windows setup. I used the USB I’ve had for about three months, but when I tried to boot, it showed a black screen and white bars. After formatting the USB, I followed the same steps using Windows Media Creation Tool, which also returned the same issue. My PC has USB boot enabled, yet it doesn’t successfully load into the USB. Can you help me figure out what’s going on?

Stay calm, this didn’t happen to you either. Try opening the motherboard bios and switching the boot mode to the USB drive. After that, save your changes and exit—it should resolve the issue.

Are you attempting to run a UEFI installation on an older BIOS setup? Could you tell me the exact brand and model of the device you're trying to connect?
