Since you obtained the key last year for $10, you should be able to keep using it unless there are any restrictions or if the system has expired.
Additionally, when your Windows license is an OEM license, it remains tied to the initial motherboard it's placed on and cannot be transferred, which results in a reduced cost. Only retail licenses can be transferred.
