The Windows installer fails to recognize an SSD that has been formatted.
My ASUS laptop suddenly displayed a BSOD one day. I couldn’t resolve it, so I unlocked the SSD (BitLocker) on another machine and reformatted it. When I tried to boot via USB and opened the Windows installer, it didn’t recognize the SSD. I’ve already used the "diskpart" command in the command prompt, but the "list disk" and "list volume" commands didn’t show anything. The SSD functions correctly on other devices, so I’m unsure what’s wrong. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
This appears to be a MacBook Pro model with secure erase functionality in its BIOS.
Good new I fixed the problem, the solution was to disable VMD controller in the VMD configuration part in the BIOS. Apparently this a known bug with intel chips, if someone else has this error and disabling VMD is not working you can try to install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver there is a guide here: Thanks for helping
