I've experienced this problem for some time, but only realized it today while updating my Minecraft online. The start menu appears grayed out and shows an exclamation mark next to the icon. I've tried several fixes: checking the SFC file, restoring DISM health, running wsreset, using the Windows Store troubleshooter, upgrading to 21H1 (the issue also occurred on 20H2), and installing Windows 10 Pro 64-bit 21H1 on an SSD.
