The Windows 7 Task Manager performs better and is more reliable compared to Windows 8.1. I haven’t fully tested Windows 10 or Windows 8 yet. Did anyone else observe this difference?

Win 10 performs adequately, but a persistent full-time task manager isn't necessary.

The Win 8.1 interface looks better than Win 7, though. For instance, when I pushed my PC to its limits, the Win 7 task manager handled the clutter smoothly, but the Win 8.1 would immediately say it wasn't responding. I don’t need it running constantly, just when things get tough.

I haven't faced any problems with 8.1 Task Manager—it works perfectly as expected without any issues.

Based on my experience, I'm certain it's the opposite.

Right now, with modern hardware, you can push your PC to its limits by using intensive tasks or demanding software. Even a dual-core i3 MacBook running Windows 7 can struggle to stay stable under heavy workloads.
