Hey everyone, I've noticed my desktop search bar is now just a gray box with no results. I can still type, but it shows nothing. Have you experienced this before? Do you know any solutions or fixes? I've checked all the online resources, but nothing seems to help.

Consider a restart of your computer to address image issues. You might need to use the command DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth in an administrator terminal to fix corruption.

I've checked and fixed the indexing, tried resetting the search, restarted the search in Task Manager, and more. I'll give it another try, thank you!

It seems the issue might be related to a Windows update. Follow these steps for guidance: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubl...ows-search or https://www.maketecheasier.com/fix-windo...enu-search (the name isn't necessary as it should work in Windows 11 too)
