Hello! The Windows media player has been quite unstable lately. I've checked the graphics drivers and ensured everything is current, but the lag persists. It runs smoothly at a small size but slows to around 5-10 fps or freezes when increasing the size, especially with game clips or OBS recordings. I've tried using Media Player Classic, VLC, and other options, but the built-in player still works without issues. People usually advise against the native player, yet I prefer it for now. Any tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

They all face the same strange problem with their files. Each video differs greatly in size, quality, speed, and duration, yet they share this odd issue. I don’t remember doing any major adjustments to software, hardware, or drivers.

This file has an unnecessarily high bitrate and size for a short, low-resolution video at 3 frames per second. It will likely appear poor quality on any device. Your recording seems to be using more data than needed for the content and speed, which can cause playback issues.
