It appeared as a problem because it couldn't function in "read-only" mode, something I haven't noticed changing before.

Once completed, restart the system and remove files from c:\windows\CbsTemp, then run Windows Update again. This issue arises if power is lost during writing (e.g., hard shutdown while updating).

Following the reset and running /F on chkdsk, I proceeded with deleting the contents of c:\windows\CbsTemp. However, the operation stopped because the system couldn’t locate that folder. **Side note: The file hasn’t shifted even once**
