I installed Windows 10 on a USB drive to update just one disk at a time so I could transfer things gradually. The computer restarted itself—this can happen sometimes during updates—and now it’s stuck on the screen showing the MOBO instructions, but it isn’t providing any feedback. It’s been stuck there for about five minutes. Do you think this is typical behavior or indicates an issue?

Installation in Over Reaction Windows 10 may require minutes or even hours. This depends on your storage device, data size, and connection speed.

It isn't receiving updates. It's only installing the operating system.

It seems to be frozen on the MOBO display... It shouldn’t be there, should it be showing the information instead?

Pause for a short time, then turn on your PC and attempt the setup once more. Avoid any actions during the update process.

I haven’t touched it. I’ve been holding onto it for about 15 minutes now.

Begin fresh by restarting your PC and launching the process again when you're ready
